ਰਾਮਿਆ ਨਾਂਬੀਸਨ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Ramya Nambeesan) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਰਾਮਿਆ ਨਮਬੀਸਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਚੋਟਾਨਿਕਾਰਾ, ਕੋਚੀਨ, ਕੇਰਲਾ[1] ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਬਰਾਮਣੀਅਮ ਉਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੈਸ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[2][3] ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ "ਜੁਬਲੀ" ਅਤੇ "ਹਰੀਸ਼੍ਰੀ" ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਨ। ਉਸਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ, ਰਾਹੁਲ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਫਿਲਮ ਫਿਲਿਪਸ ਐਂਡ ਦ ਮੌਨਕੀ ਪੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਥੱਟਾਥਿਨ ਮਰਯਾਥੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਲੇਬੈਕ ਗਾਇਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[4] ਉਸਨੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ, ਅੰਬਾਦੀਮਾਲਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਚੋਟਾਨੀਕਾਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਸੇਂਟ ਟੇਰੇਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਏਰਨਾਕੁਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਟਿਵ ਇੰਗਲਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ।[5]

ਰਮਿਆ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਤਿਆਨ ਅੰਤਿਕਾਡ ਦੀ ਵਿਅੰਗ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਰੇਂਦਰਨ ਮਾਕਨ ਜੈਕਾਂਥਨ ਵਾਕਾ (2001)[6] ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਾਮੋਫੋਨ (2003) ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।[7][8]

ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ (2012)[26][27] ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਵਾਨ ਮੇਘਰੂਪਨ (2012) ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਮਿਓ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਸਾਜੀ ਸੁਰੇਂਦਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਮੇਡੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਹਸਬੈਂਡਸ ਇਨ ਗੋਆ (2012) ਅਤੇ ਓਰੂ ਯਥਰਾਏਲ (2013) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਾਈਨ ਕੀਤਾ।[28][29][30][31][32][33][34]
