ਵਾਜਿਦ ਅਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਹ (Urdu: واجد علی شاہ) (ਜਨਮ: 30 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1822 – ਮੌਤ: 1 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1887), ਅਵਧ ਦਾ 5ਵਾਂ ਨਵਾਬ/ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ 13 ਫਰਵਰੀ 1847 ਤੋਂ 11 ਫਰਵਰੀ 1856 ਤੱਕ ਗੱਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੀਨ ਰਿਹਾ।[1][2]
ਜੀਵਨ
[ਸੋਧੋ]ਵਾਜਿਦ ਅਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 30 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1822 ਨੂੰ ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਮ 'ਅਬੂ ਅਲ ਮਨਸੂਰ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਪਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਦਿਲ ਕੈਸਰ ਜਮਾਂ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਆਲਮ ਮਿਰਜਾ ਮੋਹੰਮਦ ਵਾਜਿਦ ਅਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਖਤਰ' ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਮਜਦ ਅਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੱਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੀਨ ਹੋਇਆ।
