ਸ਼ਿਲੋਈ ਝੀਲ ਫੇਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ, ਨਾਗਾਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਾਗਾਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਘਾਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। [1] [2]
ਝੀਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਟਸਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ 'ਇੱਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ' । ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਯੁੱਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਲੋਈ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
