ਅਨਾਨਾਸ (Ananas comosus) ਖਾਣਯੋਗ ਉਸ਼ਣਕਟੀਬੰਧੀ ਫਲ ਦਾ ਆਮ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹਨ।[2][3] ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰੋਮੇਲੀਆਸੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪੌਦਾ ਹੈ।[4] ਅਨਾਨਾਸ ਦੇ ਫਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਰਾਊਨ ਕੱਟਣ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।[2][5] ਇਸਨੂੰ 20–24 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਫੁੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਫਐਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[5][6] ਅਨਾਨਾਸ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੱਕਦਾ।[7] ਇਹ ਮੂਲ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੈਰਾਗਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਬਰਾਜ਼ੀਲ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਹੈ। ਅਨਾਨਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਖਵਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਰਸ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਲਾਦ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਫਰੂਟ-ਕਾਕਟੇਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਾਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਿਠਾਈ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ਼ਾਬੀ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
