ਆਰ. ਬਿੰਦੂ ਸੀ.ਪੀ.ਆਈ.(ਐਮ) ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ[1] ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੈਰੀਅਰ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਉਹ ਕੇਰਲ ਦੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਰ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੇਅਰ ਹੈ।[2][3][4] ਉਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹੈ।[5] ਉਹ ਇਰਿੰਜਾਲਕੁਡਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਬਿੰਦੂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੇਰਲਾ ਵਰਮਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਕਾਲੀਕਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੰਡੀਕੇਟ ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ।[6] ਉਹ ਏਆਈਡੀਡਬਲਯੂਏ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਡੈਮੋਕਰੇਟਿਕ ਵੂਮੈਨਜ਼ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ (ਏਆਈਡੀਡਬਲਯੂਏ) ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਸਬੰਧ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਬਿੰਦੂ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਏ. ਵਿਜੇਰਾਘਵਨ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਪੀਆਈ(ਐਮ) ਕੇਰਲ ਰਾਜ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਰੰਭ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਉਸਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1967 ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ ਰਾਧਾਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਾਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਇਰਿੰਜਲਕੁਡਾ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਐਚ.ਐਸ., ਇਰਿੰਜਲਕੁਡਾ ਸੇਂਟ ਜੋਸਫ਼ ਕਾਲਜ, ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ; ਕਾਲੀਕਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਐਨਯੂ ਦਿੱਲੀ । ਉਸਨੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਮਫਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਐਚਡੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਬਿੰਦੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।[7]
