ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ ( اِندر سبها ਇੱਕ ਉਰਦੂ ਡਰਾਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਓਪੇਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਲਖਨਊ ਦੀ ਅਵਧ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੇਖਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੀ ਆਗਾ ਹਸਨ ਅਮਾਨਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 1853 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੇਜ 'ਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[1] ਇਸਨੂੰ ਉਰਦੂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਨਾਟਕੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[2]

ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਤਰਤੀਬੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਭਾਰਤੇਂਦੂ ਹਰੀਸ਼ਚੰਦਰ ਨੇ ‘ਬੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ’ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। 1863 ਵਿੱਚ ਫ੍ਰੀਡਰਿਕ ਰੋਜ਼ੇਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਯੂਰਪੀਅਨ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਸਦਾ ਜਰਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[1][2] 1932 ਵਿਚ ਮਦਨ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ 'ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ 'ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ' ਵੀ ਬਣਾਈ। ਨੋਟ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ 'ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ' ਸੀ, ਇਸ 'ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ 'ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ' ਸੀ ਭਾਵ ਲਿਖਣ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[3]

ਨਾਟਕ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਇਹ ਓਪੇਰਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦਿਵਯਲੋਕ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠਭੂਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਟਕ ਕਾਵਿ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰੀ (ਅਪਸਰਾ) ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਚਲਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਹੈ।[4] ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਕਾਬ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਨਾਟਕੀ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।[1] ਭਾਵੇਂ ਅਮਾਨਤ ਨੇ ਅਵਧ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਚੇ ਜਾਣ ਹੀ ਨਾਟਕ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ "ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਦੋ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਵਧ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੀ।"[2][5] ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਹਿੰਦੀ-ਉਰਦੂ ਗੀਤ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ "31 ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲਾਂ, 9 ਠੁਮਰੀ, 4 ਹੋਲੀਆਂ, 15 ਗੀਤ, 2 ਚੌਬੋਲੇ ਅਤੇ 5 ਛੰਦ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਨਾਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ।"

ਇਸ ਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ 19ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 20ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਉਰਦੂ ਨਾਟਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਸਰ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਦਿਮ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਅਫਸੋਸ ਦਾ 'ਬਜ਼ਮ-ਏ-ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ (1862), ਭੈਰੋਂ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਸਮਤ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ-ਏ-ਪਾਰਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਜ ਮਹਿਲ, ਫਾਰੂਖ ਦਾ 'ਨਿਗਾਰਿਸਤਾਨ-ਏ- ਫਾਰੂਖ'। [1]

ਫ਼ਿਲਮ[ਸੋਧੋ]

1932 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਈ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ‘ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ’ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ (ਟਾਕੀਜ਼) ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸੀ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਾਲੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ 'ਆਲਮ ਆਰਾ' ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਲ 'ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ' ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ 211 ਮਿੰਟ ਲੰਬੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ 71 ਗੀਤ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ।[6] ਫ਼ਿਲਮ 'ਇੰਦਰ ਸਭਾ' ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਤਜੀ ਫਰਾਮਜੀ ਮਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ 'ਮਦਨ ਥੀਏਟਰ' ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[3]
