ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਰਾਏ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜੇਤੂ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਰਾਏ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੈਨਰ ਵਾਂਡਰਲਸਟ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਜ਼ ਹੇਠ ਲਘੂ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।[1] ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਅਮੋਲੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2018 ਲਈ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਖੋਜੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦਾ 66ਵਾਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।

ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਨੇ ਲੇਡੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਾਲਜ ਫਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ (ਆਨਰਜ਼) ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਲੀਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ, ਪੁਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਬਰਲਿਨੇਲ ਟੈਲੇਂਟਸ 2015 ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
