ਟੌਮਸ ਰੌਬਰਟ ਲਿੰਡਾਹਲ FRS FMedSci (ਜਨਮ 28 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1938) ਕੈਂਸਰ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲਾਈਜ਼ੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਵੀਡਿਸ਼ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ ਹੈ।[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਲ 2015 ਦਾ ਰਸਾਇਣ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਦਾ ਨੋਬਲ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ, ਯੂਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਪਾਲ ਐਲ ਮੋਡਰਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰਕੀ ਦੇ ਅਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ਸੈਂਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਡੀਐਨਏ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਦੇ ਯੰਤਰਵਤ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। [12][13]

ਸਿੱਖਿਆ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਲਿੰਡਾਹਲ ਸਟਾਕਹੋਮ, ਸਵੀਡਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 1967 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੀਐੱਚਡੀ,[14] ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਕਹੋਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰੋਲਿੰਸਕਾ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਤੋਂ 1970 ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿਕਿਤਸਾ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਡਾਕਟਰੇਟ ਕੀਤੀ।[2]

ਪੀਐੱਚਡੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਿੰਡਾਹਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸਟਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੌਕੀਫੈਲਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੋਸਟ ਡਾਕਟੋਰਲ ਖੋਜ ਕੀਤੀ।[15] ਯੁਨਾਈਟਡ ਕਿੰਗਡਮ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ 1981 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਇੰਪੀਰੀਅਲ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਫੰਡ (ਹੁਣ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਯੂਕੇ) ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲਿਆ।[15] 1986 ਤੋਂ ਇਹ, ਹਰਟਫੋਰਡਸ਼ਾਇਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਯੂਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਲੇਅਰ ਹਾਲ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਰਿਹਾ, 2015 ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਰਾਂਸਿਸ ਕ੍ਰਿਕ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।[16]
