1797 ਰੀਓਬਾਮਬਾ ਭੂਚਾਲ 12:30 ਵਜੇ 4 ਫ਼ਰਵਰੀ 1797 ਨੂੰ ਏਕੁਆਦੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 40000 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ[1] ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਇਕੁਆਦੋਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਸੀ।[2]
