ਰੀਮ ਕਾਸਿਸ (Arabic: ريم قسيس), (ਜਨਮ 1987[1]) ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ਲਸਤੀਨੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੱਕਬੁੱਕ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭੋਜਨ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਤ ਹੈ।[2][3][4]

ਰੀਮ ਕੈਸਿਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਈਸਾਈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਕੋਣ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[5]

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਾਡੇਲਫੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਨਸਿਲਵੇਨੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ 17 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੰਟਸਮੈਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਪਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਡਰਗ੍ਰੈਜੁਏਟ ਡਿਗਰੀਆਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।[6] ਉਸ ਨੇ 2010 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਰਟਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਐਮਬੀਏ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਲੰਡਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਮਐਸਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[7]

ਲਿਖਤੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਕੈਸੀਸ ਮੈਕਕਿਨਸੀ ਐਂਡ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਰਲਡ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕ ਫੋਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।[8] ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਣ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ।[9]
