ਰੁਕਮਣੀ ਮੈਤਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਡਲ ਹੈ। ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਮੈਤਰਾ ਨੇ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲਮ ਚੈਂਪ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[1] ਉਸਨੇ ਦੇਵ ਨਾਲ ਛੇ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸਨੇ 2021 ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਸਨਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਯੁਤ ਜਾਮਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।[2]

ਮੈਤਰਾ ਨੇ ਬੰਗਾਲੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਚੈਂਪ ਨਾਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਲਵਰ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜੋ ਈਦ, 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈ। ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਜ ਚੱਕਰਵਰਤੀ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਬਾਕਸਿੰਗ 'ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਥੀਮ ਜੋ ਬੰਗਾਲੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਖੋਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।[10][11][12][13][14][15]
