Tips

Please consider the following points:

Talk pages

1. When you start new topic under new section heading you no need to use colon.
2. The user replying, must use one colon at the starting of his/her comment. (colon count = 1)
3. The next commenter 'll use the colon by adding 1 to the previous number of colons. (colon count=2)
4. The next one 'll again add 1 to the previous number of colons. (colon count=3)
5. And so on (please note my this change to the page; you'll understand much better).

Writing articles

• First of all please follow the neutral point of view, never use honorific words in the title and also avoid using praising words in the article.
• Subject of the article must be define in very first line of the article. For example: "hakam sufi was a noted Punjabi singer." never start with, hakam sufi da janam 3 march 1952 nu hoya. Ajj ohna da naam kise pehchan da mohtaj nahi and similar. Make the subject clear in the very first line.
• Try to use the subject's name/article's title only once in the lead section and also not use it many times in the article.
• Never repeat statements in the article.
• Link to other wiki articles by placing two square brackets [[]] around a word (only if the articles for that word is exist). For e.g., hakam sufi was a noted [[Punjabi]] singer. Now, the word "Punjabi" will appear as a blue link that will link to a separate article exists for Punjabi.
• Break the article into sections accordingly. (called wikify)
• Always categorize your article by adding the appropriate category(ies) to it.

About ਵਿੱਚ, Right now i would suggest you to use anyone which you feel like using. Afterwards we will make a census about. I think ਵਿੱਚ and 'ਚ both should be used according to the situation and we should leave it on the editor. Whatever the editor feels is easy to pronounce in that very sentence should be used.
