ਸਿਕੰਦਰ (ਅੰਗਰੇਜੀ: Alexander the Great) ਫੈਲਕੂਸ ਦਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਯੂਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਕਦੂਨ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ। 13 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਅਰਸਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਗਈ।ਇਸ ਨੇ ਈਰਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਫਤਹਿ ਕਰਕੇ ਈਸਵੀ ਸਨ ਤੋਂ 327 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਪੋਰਸ (Porus) ਨੂੰ ਜੇਹਲਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਬਿਆਸ ਨਦੀ ਤਕ ਆਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ 323 ਈ.ਪੂ. ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ।
ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਯੂਨਾਨੀ ਕਲੰਡਰ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਲਗਭਗ 20 ਜੁਲਾਈ 356 ਈ.ਪੂ. ਨੂੰ ਮਕਦੂਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਪੇੱਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ। ਇਹ ਮਕਦੂਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ, ਫਿਲਿਪ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਓਲਿੰਪੀਅਸ(ਏਪਰਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੀਓਪੋਲੇਟਮਸ) ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤ ਸੀ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਫਿਲਿਪ ਦੀਆਂ 8 ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਓਲਿੰਪੀਅਸ ਹੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਪਤਨੀ ਸੀ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਕਰਕੇ।
