ਹੋਮੀ ਭਾਬਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕੇਂਦਰ
ਹੋਮੀ ਭਾਬਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ 300 ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਓਨਕੋਲੋਜੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਹੈ।[1] ਇਹ ਟਾਟਾ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[2]
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ 50 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।[3] ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ।[4][5] ਇਸਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ 24 ਅਗਸਤ 2022 ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[2]
