ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਗਰ, ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। 18 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਇਹ ਝੀਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਝੀਲਾਂ ਆਕੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਜਲਾਸ਼ਏ ਹਨ- ਗਗਰੀਬਲ, ਲੋਕੁਟ ਡਲ, ਬੋਡ ਡਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਣ। ਲੋਕੁਟ ਡਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਰੂਪਲੰਕ ਟਾਪੂ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਡ ਡਲ ਜਲਧਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸੋਨਾਲੰਕ ਟਾਪੂ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਝੀਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਸਥਿਤ ਮੁਗਲ ਬਗੀਚੀ ਤੋਂ ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਦਾ ਬੇਨਜ਼ੀਰ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।[1] or "Srinagar's Jewel".[2]
