ਜਤਿਨ ਸਪਰੂ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਵੀ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ, ਟੈਲੀਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ, ਬ੍ਰੌਡਕਾਸਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਕਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਟਾਰ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਨੈਟਵਰਕ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।[2][3][4][5]
ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਸਪਰੂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[6] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਾਦਾ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਨ। 1990 ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 1989 ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ 1990 ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੇ.ਕੇ.ਐਲ.ਐਫ. ਅਤੇ ਇਸਲਾਮਿਸਟ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਘਾਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਭੱਜਣਾ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੂਚ' ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[7][8]
