ਬਿਰਾਮੀ
ਬਿਰਾਮੀ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੂਨੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ (ਉੱਤਰੀ) ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਪਿੰਡ[1] ਹੈ।[2][3] ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ, ਇਹ ਲੂਨੀ ਤਾਲੁਕਾ, ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ, ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੈ।[4]
ਬਿਰਾਮੀ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਹਨ: ਬਿਰਾਮੀ, ਬਿਰਦਾਵਾਸ, ਮਿਆਸਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਠਸਾਨੀ।[5] ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਰਵੀ_ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਵੀ ਬਿਰਾਮੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਹੈ ।
ਭੂਗੋਲ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਬਿਰਾਮੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣ-ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਸੜਕੋ ਸੜਕ 32 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਮਿੱਤਰੀ ਨਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਲੂਨੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ, ਦੋ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗਮ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 4 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਉੱਪਰ (ਪੂਰਬ) ਵੱਲ ਹੈ।[6] ਇਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਥਾਰ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਇਸਲਈ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਮਾਨਸੂਨ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਵਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। [7] ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤਨਵਾੜਾ, ਸੜਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ 30 ਕਿ.ਮੀ. ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ।
