ਮਹਿਮੂਦ ਸ਼ਬਸਤਰੀ

ਮਹਿਮੂਦ ਸ਼ਬਿਸਤਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਮਹਿਮੂਦ ਸ਼ਬੇਸਤਰੀ (Persian: محمود شبستری‎ ‎ 1288 – 1340) 14ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ਸੂਫ਼ੀ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ^[4]

ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਸ਼ਬਿਸਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1288 (687 ਹਿਜਰੀ) ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸ਼ਬਿਸਤਰ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ^[5] ਉਹ ਇਬਨ ਅਰਬੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਤਮਕ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਗਾੜ੍ਹੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਮੰਗੋਲ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੇਲ਼ੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ।
