ਜੋਸਫ਼ ਵਿਜੈ ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ੇਖਰ[1][2] (ਜਨਮ 22 ਜੂਨ 1974[3]), ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਜੈ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਤਾਮਿਲ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।[4][5] ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ[6] ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਵਾਰ ਫੋਰਬਸ ਇੰਡੀਆ ' ਸੇਲਿਬ੍ਰਿਟੀ 100 ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[7][8] ਉਸ ਨੇ 67 ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ। ਥਾਲਾਪੈਥੀ (ਅਨੁ. ਕਮਾਂਡਰ) ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵਿਜੈ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਫੋਲੋਵਿੰਗ ਹੈ।[9][10] ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਓਸਾਕਾ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।[11][12] 2023 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[13]

ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਵਿਜੈ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 22 ਜੂਨ 1974 ਨੂੰ ਮਦਰਾਸ (ਹੁਣ ਚੇਨਈ), ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋਸਫ਼ ਵਿਜੈ ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[14] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ, S.A. ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ੇਖਰ, ਇੱਕ ਤਾਮਿਲ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਹਨ[15] ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ, ਸ਼ੋਬਾ ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ੇਖਰ, ਇੱਕ ਪਲੇਬੈਕ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਟਿਕ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਹੈ।[16] ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਈਸਾਈ ਮੂਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹੈ।[17] ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ 12 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।[18] ਵਿਜੈ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਭੈਣ, ਵਿਧਿਆ, ਵੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸੀ।[19]

ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਡਮਬੱਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਤਿਮਾ ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਹਾਇਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ[20] ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੁਗਮਬੱਕਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਲਲੋਕ ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਹਾਇਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ[21] ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਯੋਲਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਜ਼ੂਅਲ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਾਖ਼ਿਲਾ ਲਿਆ। 18 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੀ "ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਂਚ ਕਰਨਗੇ"।[22]

ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਕਰੀਅਰ[ਸੋਧੋ]

1984-2003: ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ[ਸੋਧੋ]

1987 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਜੇ

10 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵੇਤਰੀ (1984) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ-ਅਤੇ-ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ PS ਵੀਰੱਪਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ₹ 500 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[23] ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਡੰਬਮ (1984), ਵਸੰਤ ਰਾਗਮ (1986), ਸੱਤਮ ਓਰੂ ਵਿਲਾਯਾਤੂ (1987) ਅਤੇ ਇਥੂ ਐਂਗਲ ਨੀਥੀ (1988) ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਾਨ ਸਿਗੱਪੂ ਮਨੀਥਨ (1985) ਵਿੱਚ ਰਜਨੀਕਾਂਤ, ਜੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਸੀ, ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਹਿ-ਸਟਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ 18 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਲਾਈਆ ਥਿਰਪੂ (1992) ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।[24] ਵਿਜੈ ਫਿਰ ਸੇਂਥੂਰਪਾਂਡੀ, ਰਸੀਗਨ, ਦੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਇੰਬਟੂਰ ਮੈਪਿਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਸਨ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।[25][26][27]

1998 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਜੈ

1996 ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਰਮਨ -ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਤ ਪੂਵ ਉਨਕਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ "ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਬ੍ਰੇਕ" ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ "ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਉਚਾਈਆਂ" ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ।[28] 1997 ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਾਮੱਲਮ ਕਾਥੀਰੂਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਹੁੰਗਾਰਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ,[29] ਅਤੇ ਲਵ ਟੂਡੇ , ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।[30]

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨੇਰਰੁੱਕੂ ਨੇਰ, ਕਧਲੁੱਕੂ ਮਾਰਿਆਧਾਈ, ਨਿਨੈਥੇਨ ਵੰਧਾਈ, ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾਮੁਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਥੁੱਲਧਾ ਮਨਮੁਮ ਥੁੱਲੁਮ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਸਮੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ।[31][32] ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੀਲਾਵੇ ਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਐਂਡਰੇਂਦਰਮ ਕਢਲ, ਨੇਨਜਿਨੀਲੇ , ਅਤੇ ਮਿਨਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਨਾ ਆਈਆਂ।[33]

2000 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੰਨੂਕੁਲ ਨੀਲਾਵੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੀ 25ਵੀਂ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ,[34] ਦੋ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਰੋਮਾਂਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ, ਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਮਾਨਾਵਲੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਸਫਲ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂਦੋਸਤ , ਬਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹਜਹਾਂ ਸਨ। 2002 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਯੰਕਾ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਥਮਿਜ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਭਿਨੈ ਕੀਤਾ।[35][36] ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਯੂਥ ਅਤੇ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਬਾਗਵਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ।[37]

ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ 2003 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮੇਡੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਸੀਗਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਪੁਧੀਆ ਗੀਤਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[38][39]

ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਸੋਰਨਲਿੰਗਮ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ,[40][41] ਇੱਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾਈ ਤਾਮਿਲ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ 25 ਅਗਸਤ 1999 ਨੂੰ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਕਿੰਗਡਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ।[42][43] ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਬੱਚੇ ਹਨ।[44] ਵਿਜੇ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੇ, ਜੇਸਨ ਸੰਜੇ ਨੇਵੇਟਾਇਕਰਨ (2009)[45] ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਥੇਰੀ (2016) ਦੇ ਕਲਾਈਮੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਟੀਨ ਧੀ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।[46]

5 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2020 ਨੂੰ, ਇਨਕਮ ਟੈਕਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਚੇਨਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਟੈਕਸ ਚੋਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਚੱਲ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਡਕਸ਼ਨ ਸਟੂਡੀਓ AGS ਐਂਟਰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ।[47] ਇਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਿਜੈ ਅਤੇ ਏਜੀਐਸ ਐਂਟਰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਅੰਬੂ ਚੇਲੀਅਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਦੱਸੇ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਟੈਕਸ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਸੀ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਰੀਬ 65 ਕਰੋੜ ₹ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।[48] ਇਹ ਜਾਂਚ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਜੇ ਕੁਡਲੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।[49] 12 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।[50] ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਛਾਪਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਜੈ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਮਰਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੋਟਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਡਜ਼ ਐਂਡ ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼ ਟੈਕਸ (ਭਾਰਤ) 'ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।[51]

13 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਮਦਰਾਸ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੁਆਰਾ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਇਰ ਇੱਕ ਰਿੱਟ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੋਲਸ-ਰਾਇਸ ਗੋਸਟ ਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਐਂਟਰੀ ਟੈਕਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਤੋਂ ਆਯਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ 1 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜੋ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਰਾਹਤ ਫੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਾਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਸਟਿਸ ਐਸ ਐਮ ਸੁਬਰਾਮਨੀਅਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਜੈ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੀਰੋ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ "ਰੀਲ" ਹੀਰੋ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਇੱਕ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਹੀਰੋ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਆਦਤ ਕਿਹਾ।[52] 15 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਮਦਰਾਸ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਅਪੀਲ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ।[53] 20 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਟੈਕਸ ਛੋਟ ਕੇਸ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣਹਾਨੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਟੈਕਸ ਬੈਂਚ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[54] 27 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਮਦਰਾਸ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਜੱਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਚ ਨੇ ਜੱਜ ਐਸ.ਐਮ. ਸੁਬਰਾਮਨੀਅਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ₹ 1 ਲੱਖ ਜੁਰਮਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੋਕ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[55] 25 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2022 ਨੂੰ, ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੱਜ ਐਸ ਐਮ ਸੁਬਰਾਮਨੀਅਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[56][57] 15 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2022 ਨੂੰ, ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਆਯਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2019 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੂਰਾ ਐਂਟਰੀ ਟੈਕਸ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।[58][59][60]

ਦੌਲਤ[ਸੋਧੋ]

2021 ਤੱਕ, ਵਿਜੈ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ₹4200 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਜਾਂ ₹ 420 ਕਰੋੜ ਹੈ।[61] ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਬੀਸਟ ਲਈ ₹100 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ,[62] ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਨ ₹120 ਕਰੋੜ- ₹150 ਕਰੋੜ ਵਰਿਸੂ ਲਈ ਕਮਾਏ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਨਖ਼ਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[63][64] 2023 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ₹ 200 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[65]

ਕਲਾਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ 2006 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸਟੈਂਪ ਐਲਬਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ

ਵਿਜੈ ਦੇ ਮੋਮ ਦੇ ਫੀਗਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੰਨਿਆਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਅਜਾਇਬ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।[66][67] ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਬੀਸਟ ਦੇ ਅਰਬੀ ਕੁਥੂ ਡਾਂਸ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਨੂੰ 1 ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਵਿਊਜ਼ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ।[68][69][70] ਵਾਰਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ "ਰਣਜੀਤਮੇ" ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਸੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[71] ਵਿਜੈ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਪੇਜ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ 1 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਫਾਲੋਅਰਜ਼ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਸੀ।[72]

ਨਿਊਜ਼ 18 ਵਿਜੈ ਨੂੰ "ਬਹੁਮੁਖੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ" ਅਤੇ "ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪਲੇਬੈਕ ਗਾਇਕ, ਡਾਂਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀ" ਵਜੋਂ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।[73][74] ਓਡੀਸ਼ਾ ਟੀਵੀ ਨੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ "ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ [ਵਿਜੇ ਦੀਆਂ] ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਗਲ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਡਾਂਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ"।[75] ਜ਼ੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਿਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[76] ਟਾਈਮਜ਼ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾਂਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ "ਊਰਜਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਜ" ਦਾ ਲੇਬਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[77]

ਵਿਜੈ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਐਮ.ਜੀ.ਆਰ. ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਂਡ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਤੋਂ ਆਨਰੇਰੀ ਡਾਕਟਰੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[78] ਵਿਜੈ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਸਲ ਲਈ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਕਿੰਗਡਮ ਵਿੱਚ '2018 ਦੇ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ' ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[79]
