ਅਸੀਮ ਤ੍ਰੀਵੇਦੀ (ਜਨਮ 17 ਫ਼ਰਵਰੀ 1987) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿਸਟ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਕਾਰਟੂਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਟਰਨੇਟ ਸੈਂਸਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਸੇਵ ਯੂਅਰ ਵਾਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਸੀ।
ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਅਸੀਮ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 17 ਫ਼ਰਵਰੀ 1987 ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨਪੁਰ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿਸਟ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[1]

ਅਸੀਮ ਨੂੰ 9 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੇਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ[2]। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਰਾਜਧਰੋਹ ਦਾ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮਾਰਕੰਡੇ ਕਾਟਜੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੇਸ ਲੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸਤੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਧਰੋਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿਸਟ ਜਾਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਜੁਰਮ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੰਡ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁਰਮ ਹੈ।[3] [4][5] [6] [7] [8][9]
