ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਂ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ 250 ਕਿਲੋ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੁਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੰਗਲੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਅਫ਼ਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅਤੇ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੀਕਾ, ਮਿਡਲ ਇਸਟ, ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ੇਰ 10,000 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਮਨੁਖਾਂ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ, ਦੁਨਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਸੀ।
