ਰਿਫਾ-ਏ-ਆਮ ਕਲੱਬ (ਉਰਦੂ: رفاہِ عام کلب, ਹਿੰਦੀ:रिफ़ा-ए-आम क्लब
) ਲਖਨਊ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਲੇਖਕ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। [1] [2]
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਇਹ ਇਮਾਰਤ 1860 ਦੇ ਆਸਪਾਸ ਅਵਧ ਦੇ ਨਵਾਬ ਨੇ ਬਣਵਾਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ। [3] [4] ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਹ ਨਾਮ "ਰਿਫ਼ਾ " ਜਾਂ "ਖੁਸ਼ੀ" ਅਤੇ " ਆਮ " ਤੋਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਲ਼ਦੀ ਹੈ। [5] [6] ਇਹ ਕਲੱਬ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਈ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯੂਰਪੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। [6] ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਦ ਇਕਾਨੋਮਿਸਟ " ਪਤਰਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦੀ ਹੈਂਗਆਊਟ" ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। [7] ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਮੁਨਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਚੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਅਮੀਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਖਾਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਕਸਰ ਇਥੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ। [8] 1900 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਲ-ਇੰਡੀਆ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਈਆਂ। [9] ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲ਼ੇ 1916 ਦਾ ਲਖਨਊ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ 'ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। [10] [8] ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ 15 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1920 ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੂ-ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਏਕਤਾ ' ਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ। [11] [12] ਅਤੇ 26 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1922 ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਲਭਭਾਈ ਪਟੇਲ ਨੇ ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।[13] ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਲੇਖਕ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ 10 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1936 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ [9]
ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਭ-ਸੰਭਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ; ਇੱਕ ਵਿੰਗ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਦੂਜਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਹੜਾ ਇੱਕ ਕੂੜੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ। [14] [9] [10] ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਮਾੜੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਰਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। [8] [9] [7] [15]
