ਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਓਹਾਇਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਇਰਤੋ ਰੀਕੋ, ਕਿੰਟਕੀ, ਨਿਊ ਯਾਰਕ, ਪੈੱਨਸਿਲਵੇਨੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਰਹੀ।[4] ਇਸਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਸਵੀਡਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਇਰਤੋ ਰੀਕੋ ਮੂਲ ਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਲੀ ਨੇ ਬੋਸਟਨ, ਮੈਸੇਚਿਉਸੇਟਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟਰਿੱਪ ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿੱਚ 18 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟਰਿਪਿੰਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਅਡਲਟ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਸ ਐਂਜਲਸ ਆ ਗਈ।[5] ਇਸਨੇ 1972 ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਾਲਗ ਫਿਲਮ ਕਲਾਸਿਕ ਬੀਹਾਇੰਡ ਦ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਡੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
