ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਊਸ
ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਊਸ (Ezdiki: Tawûsê Melek) ਯਜ਼ਦਾਨੀਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਇਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ। ਯਜ਼ੀਦੀ ਧਰਮ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੱਤ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਊਸ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਹੈ।[1]
16ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ[2] ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਯਜ਼ੀਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਊਸ ਦਾ ਆਦਮ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਮਾਨਤਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ।ਯਜ਼ੀਦੀ 'ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਹੇਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਬੂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਜ਼ੀਦੀ ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਊਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਮੰਨਕੇ ਪੂਜਦੇ ਹਨ।[3]
