[ਸੋਧੋ]ਸ਼ਰਮਾ 2024 ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮੇਠੀ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ। [3] [4] ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਇਰਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ 1,67,196 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। [5] [6] [7]
