ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਬੈੱਡਫੋਰਡਸ਼ਾਇਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਾਫਿਕ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਉਹ ਮੁੰਬਈ 'ਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਸਾਥੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਕਪਿਲ ਆਰੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।[6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਪੈਂਟਾਲੂਨ ਫੇਮਿਨਾ ਮਿਸ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ 10 ਫਾਈਨਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ।[13][14][15][16] ਉਹ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟ ਅਤੇ ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰਾਂ, ਹੁੰਡਈ i20, ਵਿਸਪਰ, ਸਨਸਿਲਕ, ਗਾਰਨੀਅਰ, ਲੋਰੀਅਲ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਟੀਵੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਪਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਰਹੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਆ, ਫੇਮਿਨਾ, ਰੇਮੰਡਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਨੇ ਹਾਕੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਲੀਗ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।[17]

ਸਾਲ 2015 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਲਾਈਫ ਓਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੌਟ ਆਓ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਹਾਨਾ (ਵੀਕੇ ਦੇ ਬੌਸ) ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[18] ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁਪਰਕੌਪਸ ਬਨਾਮ ਸੁਪਰਵਿਲੇਨਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਆਈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਦਮਯੰਤੀ (ਅਘੋਰ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਤਰੀ) / ਰਾਣੀ ਜ਼ਫਰਾ / ਸੁਪਰਕੌਪ ਹੇਟਨਵਿਟਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਿਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਐਪੀਸੋਡ ਨਿਭਾਏ।[19][20][21]

2018 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਨੇ ਏਕਤਾ ਕਪੂਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਮਿਤ ਵੈੱਬ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦਿਲ ਹੀ ਤੋ ਹੈ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਵਾ ਨੂਨ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨੀ ਐਂਟਰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਟੈਲੀਵਿਜ਼ਨ ' ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[22][23][24][25][26][27]
