ਟਾਂਕਾ[1] ਮਿਸ਼ਰਤ ਧਾਤ ਟਿੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਕੇ ਦੇ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਇਲੈਕਟਰਾਨਿਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਜੋੜਨ ਜਾਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਨਰਮ ਟਾਂਕੇ ਦੀ ਪਿਘਲਣ ਦੀ ਰੇਂਜ 90 °C ਤੋਂ 450 °C ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਖਤ ਟਾਂਕੇ ਦੀ ਪਿਘਲਣ ਦਰ 450 °C ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
