Hello again, I believe the earlier message has created some confusion. If you have already submitted the details in the Google form, it has been accepted, you don't need to submit it again. The earlier reminder is for those who haven't yet submitted their Google form or if they any alternate way to provide their address. I apologize for creating the confusion. Thanks-Sailesh Patnaik
Thank you for keeping Wikipedia thriving in India[ਸੋਧੋ]
I wanted to drop in to express my gratitude for your participation in this important contest to increase articles in Indian languages. It’s been a joyful experience for me to see so many of you join this initiative. I’m writing to make it clear why it’s so important for us to succeed.
Almost one out of every five people on the planet lives in India. But there is a huge gap in coverage of Wikipedia articles in important languages across India.
This contest is a chance to show how serious we are about expanding access to knowledge across India, and the world. If we succeed at this, it will open doors for us to ensure that Wikipedia in India stays strong for years to come. I’m grateful for what you’re doing, and urge you to continue translating and writing missing articles.
Your efforts can change the future of Wikipedia in India.
You can find a list of articles to work on that are missing from Wikipedia right here:
Sorry for writing this message in English - feel free to help us translating it
We are glad to inform you that Project Tiger 2.0/GLOW is going to start very soon. You know about Project Tiger first iteration where we saw exciting and encouraging participation from different Indian Wikimedia communities. To know about Project Tiger 1.0 please see this page

Article writing contest - A 3-month article writing contest will be conducted for Indian Wikimedians communities. Following community feedback, we noted some community members wanted the process of article list generation to be improved. In this iteration, there will be at least two lists of articles
Community suggested list. Google generated list will be given to the community members before finalising the final list. On the other hand, the community may create a list by discussing among the community over Village pump, Mailing list and similar discussion channels.
The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey about your experience with ਵਿਕੀਪੀਡੀਆ and Wikimedia. The purpose of this survey is to learn how well the Foundation is supporting your work on wiki and how we can change or improve things in the future. The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation.
A couple of weeks ago, we invited you to take the Community Insights Survey. It is the Wikimedia Foundation’s annual survey of our global communities. We want to learn how well we support your work on wiki. We are 10% towards our goal for participation. If you have not already taken the survey, you can help us reach our goal! Your voice matters to us.
There are only a few weeks left to take the Community Insights Survey! We are 30% towards our goal for participation. If you have not already taken the survey, you can help us reach our goal!
With this poll, the Wikimedia Foundation gathers feedback on how well we support your work on wiki. It only takes 15-25 minutes to complete, and it has a direct impact on the support we provide.
