ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜੱਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦੀ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਹੈ।[1]ਇਹ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਸੀ,[2] ਜੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਪੱਖੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[3] ਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਫਰਵਰੀ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੱਕ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ-ਮੁਖੀ ਸਨ[3] ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਹੈ।[4]

੨੯ ਸਤੰਬਰ ੨੦੨੧ ਨੂੰ, ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਂਨਫਰੰਸ ਰੱਖ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜੱਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ।[5]

ਗਠਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]

29 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨੇ " ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਦਬਾਅ ਸਮੂਹ " ਵਜੋਂ, ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਠਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।[6][7][8] ਸੰਗਠਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ 2020-2021 ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।[8] ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਮਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ।[9]

ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਆਟੋਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਫਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।[10] ਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।[11] ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ “ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ” ਅਤੇ “ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ” ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[12] ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਨੇ 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ) ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ। [13] ਇਸਨੇ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਆਰੰਭਤਾ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾਖੋਰੀ, ਜਾਤੀਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਵਾਂ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਦਾਜ ) ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ[14] 23 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2023 ਨੂੰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਜਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਝੜਪਾਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ।[15] ਝੜਪਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਪੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸਨੂੰ "ਢਾਲ" ਵਜੋਂ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[16] ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਆਈਐਸਆਈ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਫੰਡ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ।[17]

ਕਰੈਕਡਾਊਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]

18 ਮਾਰਚ 2023 ਨੂੰ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ "ਬੇਅਰਾਮੀ" ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਖੋਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ।[18] ਖੋਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਬਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ 30 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਟ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਮੈਸੇਜਿੰਗ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਮਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[18]

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[19][20][21] ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਾ।[22] ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ, 23 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2023 ਨੂੰ, ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਗਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਰੋਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅਸਾਮ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਉੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਲੀ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।[23]
