ਫਾਈਟ ਫਾਰ ਦ ਫਿਊਚਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ, ਗ੍ਰੀਰ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਸੀ ਮੈਨਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ।[18][19] 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ, ਗ੍ਰੀਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਰਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਫੰਡ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਭ ਐਲਬਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗੇਂਸਟ ਮੀ, ਥਰਸਟਨ ਮੂਰ, ਗ੍ਰਾਹਮ ਨੈਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਾਂਡਾ ਪਾਮਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।[20][21]
