ਕਾਟਜ਼ੇਬ
ਕਾਟਜ਼ੇਬ ( ਕਮਰਬੰਦ, ਕਯਾਬੰਦ, ਕਮਰਬੰਦ ) ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਸੀ, ਕਮਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਟਕਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਸੀਸ਼ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਟਾਕਾ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[1][2][3][4]
ਨਾਮ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਕਾਟਜ਼ੇਬ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਿਤ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੈ । ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਾਟੀ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਕਮਰ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ੈਬ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ। ਮੁਗਲ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਮਾ (ਕੋਟ) ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕਾਟਜ਼ੇਬ ਤੀਜੇ ਮੁਗਲ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਕਬਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਕਮਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਅਬੂਲ-ਫ਼ਜ਼ਲ ਇਬਨ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਈਨ-ਏ-ਅਕਬਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[5][6][7][8][9][10]

ਕਾਟਜ਼ੇਬ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਇਤਾਕਾਰ ਟੁਕੜਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਮਾ (ਇੱਕ ਕੋਟ), ਸ਼ਾਲ, ਪੱਗ ਤਨਜ਼ੇਬ (ਪੱਤਲੀ) ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਕਟਜ਼ੇਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਖੰਜਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਗ਼ਲ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਹਨ।[11][12]

ਕੈਟਜ਼ੇਬ ਇੱਕ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੀ ਬੈਲਟ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪਲੇਨ, ਲੈਸਡ, ਕਢਾਈ, ਬ੍ਰੋਕੇਡਡ ਜਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ।[13]
