ਗੌਰਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (ਜਨਮ: 4 ਮਾਰਚ 1992) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਰਧ-ਆਤਮਜੀਵਨੀ ਨਾਵਲ ਗੋਨ ਆਰ ਦ ਡੇਜ਼ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[3][4][5][6][7] ਇਸ ਨਾਵਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਨ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਾਠ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ।[8]

ਗੌਰਵ ਦਾ ਬਚਪਨ ਸੀਤਾਮੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਦਾ-ਦਾਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੀਤਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ. ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।[9] ਸਾਲ 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੰਦਰਪ੍ਰਸਥ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ।[10] 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਲੰਗਾਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੋਸਟ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। [11] ਗੌਰਵ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।[12]

ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਜਿਮਸ ਰੇਡੀਓ 90.4 MHz, ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡ, ਇੰਡੀਆ ਟੂਡੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਅਤੇ ਐਨਡੀਟੀਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਖਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ।[13]

2011 ਵਿੱਚ, 19 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਠ ਪੁਸਤਕ, ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਐਂਡ ਗ੍ਰਾਫਿਕਸ ਰੀਡਿਫਾਈਨਡ ਲਿਖੀ।[14] 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਰੀਡਿਫਾਈਨਡ ਲਿਖੀ।[15] ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਡਿਵਲਮੈਂਟ ਐਂਡ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਮੋਰਫੋਸਿਸ ਸਾਲ 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਭਿਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[16] ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਮਾਸ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਂਡ ਜਰਨਲਿਜ਼ਮ, ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਨੇ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਸ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[17]
