ਰੋਮਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਯੂਰਪ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਦੱਖਣ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ (ਭਾਰਤ) ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਮਾਨੀ ਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੋਮਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਖਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੂਰਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ (ਅਤੇ ਯੂਰਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਯੂਰਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਹਨ)। ਰੋਮਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਮਾਨੀ (ਭਾਸ਼ਾ) ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਉਪਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੋਈ 20 ਲੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਰੋਮਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 40 ਲੱਖ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਹੈ।
