ਜੈਨੇਟ ਵਿਧੀ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Janet Vidhi; ਜਨਮ 18 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1995 ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ) ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਖਿਡਾਰਨ ਹੈ।[1][2][3] ਉਹ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।[4][5][6][7] ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਰਲੀ 100 ਰੈਂਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ 9ਵੀਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਹੈ।[8] ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰੈਂਕਿੰਗ ਨੰਬਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ 01 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2017 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ 88 (ਅਤੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਨੰਬਰ 3)।[9][10]

ਜੈਨੇਟ ਨੇ 2009 ਵਿੱਚ ISP-ਸਪ੍ਰਾਈਟ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਜੈਨੇਟ ਵਿਧੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਖੁਰੀ ਮਲਹੋਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਗੇਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਡਰ-17 ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਜੈਨੇਟ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਗੇਮ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਚੌਥਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਲਈ 11-9, 11-7, 8-11, 15-13 ਨਾਲ ਸਕੋਰਲਾਈਨ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ।[11]

ਏਅਰ ਫੋਰਸ ਬਾਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਨੇ 2015 ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ।[12][13] ਉਹ 2014 ਤੋਂ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਖਿਡਾਰਨ ਹੈ।[14]

ਉਸਨੇ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋਸ਼ਨਾ ਚਿਨੱਪਾ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਖੇਡਿਆ।[15]

ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਸਨੇ 15 ਤੋਂ 19 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2016 ਤੱਕ ਸਾਰਨੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਖੇਡਿਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਡਰਾਅ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮੈਚ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਹੈਨਾ ਗੁਥਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ 11-4, 11-6, 11-5 (3-0) ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਪਾਉਲਾ ਜੇਨਕਿੰਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਆਰਟਰ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ 11-8, 11-13, 14-12, 11-4 (3-1) ਦੇ ਸਕੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਸੈਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਐਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੋਨੀ (ਫਿਨਲੈਂਡ) ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਏ. ਖ਼ਿਤਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋ ਮੈਚ ਦੂਰ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਐਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੋਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰ ਗਈ।[16]

ਉਸਨੇ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ "ਯੰਗ ਅਚੀਵਰ ਸਪੋਰਟ" ਇੰਡੋ-ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਸਨੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੁਸ਼ਮਾ ਸਵਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਵਰਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਠੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।[17][18] ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਫੁੱਲ ਟਾਈਮ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੈ।[19]

ਜੈਨੇਟ ਵਿਧੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ "ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਲੈਣਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਪੇਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਰਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 5 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਮਾਰਚ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਸਕੁਐਸ਼ ਸਰਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ 30 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।"[20]
