ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਲਿੰਗਾ ਸੋਵਦੇਸਵਰੀ ਅੰਮਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਦੇਵੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚੌਦੇਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਦੇਵੀ (ਹਿੰਦੀ: श्री रामलिंग चौडेस्वरी माता, ਤਾਮਿਲ: ஸ்ரீ ராமலிங்கசௌடேஸ்வரிஅம்மன், ਮਲਿਆਲਮ: ശ്രീ രാമലിംഗ ചൌഡേശ്വരി അമ്മൻ, ਕੰਨੜ: ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗ ಚೌಡೆಸ್ವಾರಿ ದೇವಿ, ਤੇਲਗੂ: శ్రీ రామలింగ చౌదెస్వరి దేవి) ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀ, ਚਾਮੁੰਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਤੀ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਚੌਦੇਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਲਿੰਗਾ ਸੋਦੇਸਵਰੀ ਅੰਮਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੋਰ ਨਾਮ ਬਨਾਸ਼ੰਕਰੀ, ਸੁਦਾਮਬਿਕਾ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈ।[1]

ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਵਜ ਹੈ।[2] "ਅਗਨੀ ਮਨੂ" ਸਭ ਲਈ ਕਪੜੇ ਬੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਕਪੜੇ ਬੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੀ। ਦੇਵਾਲਾ ਤੀਜੀ ਅੱਖ ਤੋਂ (ਜਾਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਉੱਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ) ਉੱਭਰਿਆ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਕਪੜੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਣਾਈ ਸਿਖਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
