ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 2 ਮਈ, 1952 ਹੋਈਆ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆ। ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਡਾ ਰਾਜੇਂਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੇ. ਟੀ ਸਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਜੇਤੂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 507,400 ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੇ 92,827 ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆ[1][2][3][4] ।
