ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਦ ਹੰਡਰਡ ਦੇ 2022 ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਓਵਲ ਇਨਵਿਨਸੀਬਲਜ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[24] ਜੂਨ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ 2022 ਟੀ-20 ਬਲਾਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਂਪਸ਼ਾਇਰ ਹਾਕਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ 5/30 ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਟੀ-20 ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।[25] ਉਸੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਾਉਂਟੀ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ 126 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 62 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।[26]

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ 2011-12 CSA U13 ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿੰਬਾਬਵੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ U13 ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।[27]

30 ਮਈ 2018 ਨੂੰ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੂਜੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਬੈਨ ਸਟੋਕਸ ਦੇ ਕਵਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[30] ਉਸਨੇ 1 ਜੂਨ 2018 ਨੂੰ ਹੈਡਿੰਗਲੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਟੈਸਟ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ।[31] ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਇਕਲੌਤੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਚ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ 2/43 ਵਾਪਸ ਕੀਤੇ।[32]

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੋ ਟੈਸਟ ਖੇਡੇ, 37.33 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 112 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ।[38] ਉਸਨੇ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2019 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ, ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।[39] ਉਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੀ ਲਈ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ (ਟੀ-20ਆਈ) ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[40] ਉਸਨੇ 1 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2019 ਨੂੰ, ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ, ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਟੀ-20I ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ।[41]

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ 2019 ਦੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੌਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਟੈਸਟ ਖੇਡੇ, ਚਾਰ ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 50 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ 161 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ।[42]2019 ਦੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਆਇਰਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇੱਕ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਏਸ਼ੇਜ਼ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ 16 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 6 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ 21.8 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 87 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ।[43]

ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋ ਟੈਸਟ ਖੇਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ 2019-20 ਦੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਛੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਖੇਡੇ। ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨ ਨੇ 39.7 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 6 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 40 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ 7 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 130 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ 32.6 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 10 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ 4/58 ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।[44][45]

29 ਮਈ 2020 ਨੂੰ, ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ 55-ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[46][47] 17 ਜੂਨ 2020 ਨੂੰ, ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਟੈਸਟ ਲੜੀ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ 30-ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[48][49] 4 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2020 ਨੂੰ, ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ ਲਈ ਨੌਂ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[50][51]

2020 ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇੱਕ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਖੇਡਿਆ, ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਕਲੌਤੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 17 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ 36 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 4 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।[52] ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ 2021 ਦੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਦੌਰੇ ਲਈ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[53]

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਰੇ 5 T20I ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ 3 ODI ਮੈਚ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ 2021 ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਖੇਡੇ। 28 ਮਾਰਚ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਦੌਰੇ ਦੇ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ 329 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 95* ਸਕੋਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੇਅਰ ਆਫ਼ ਦਾ ਮੈਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਇਹ ਮੈਚ 7 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਰ ਗਿਆ।[54]

1 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੂਜੇ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।[55] 16 ਅਗਸਤ 2021 ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੂਜੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਰਨ ਲਾਰਡਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੰਗ ਜੋੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਸੀ।[56]
