ਨਸਾਊ (/[invalid input: 'icon']ˈnæsɔː/) ਬਹਾਮਾਸ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ 248,948 (2010 ਮਰਦਮਸ਼ੁਮਾਰੀ) ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ (334,658) ਦਾ 70% ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਿਊ ਪ੍ਰਾਵੀਡੈਂਸ ਟਾਪੂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵਣਜੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਭਾ ਸਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਨੂੰਨੀ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਡਾਕੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।^[1]
