ਹਵਾਨਾ (ਸਪੇਨੀ: La Habana, [la aˈβana] ( ਸੁਣੋ)) ਕਿਊਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ, ਸੂਬਾ, ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਬੰਦਰਗਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ।^[1] ਇਸਦੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ ੨੧ ਲੱਖ ਹੈ^[2]^[1] ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰਫਲ ੭੨੮.੨੬ ਵਰਗ ਕਿ.ਮੀ. ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਕੈਰੀਬਿਆਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤਰਫਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਾਦੀ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਹਾਂਨਗਰੀ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਹੈ।^[2]^[3] ਖਾੜੀ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਪੱਛਮ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੀੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੰਦਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਦਾ ਹੈ: ਮਾਰੀਮਲੇਨਾ, ਗੁਆਨਾਬਾਕੋਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਾਰਸ। ਜਿੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਲੇਮੇਂਦਾਰਸ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੱਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਖਾੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਫ਼ਲੋਰੀਡਾ ਜਲ-ਡਮਰੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਡਿੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।^[4]
